The Lost Dutchman Mine 3D lets you seek your fortune in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona where you will have to survive thirst, hunger, rattlers, bandits and Indians to get rich. As the old prospector you can get rich panning gold, finding mines, or gambling Faro in the saloon. And...if you're persistent you may find the map stones that will lead you to the Lost Dutchman Mine. Excellent 3D Graphics, good sound effects and story line.

Arcade

TAGAP The Apocalyptic Game About Penguins -http://www.tagap.net/

While a scientist in "a distant research facility" - New Zealand - discovers a penguin genome, one of the penguin test subjects breaks loose and soon enough he's blasting his way through the waking army of undead mindless zombie penguins in a struggle to overthrow the impending penguin apocalypse. The story fills itself in from there, but the crux of the game centres on old fashioned platform jumping and decimation of penguins.
Using the mouse to aim, left-click to fire and keyboard to move, you'll come across eight weapons, each with its own secondary fire (accessible by a right-click). The twin Uzi's can fire in two directions at once. The shotgun is also a grenade launcher. The plasma gun acts as a shield. Using the flame thrower, you can set the floors on fire and oh, so much more. That's before you get to pilot a helicopter.
TAGAP has great graphics, enough violence to be satisfying but not enough to be gory. It has thumping tunes from start to finish. It's difficult, its challenging and is ultimately rewarding. TAGAP also comes with a level editor - which you can use to build your own levels and cut scenes with.
The game frequently surprises and there is always something new to experience just around the corner. TAGAP is a must have.

This game is stand-alone and does not require installation. Funny, good graphics and an unique idea. This game is an old-style top-down game.

MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with an arcade game´s data files (ROMs), MAME will more or less faithfully reproduce that game on a PC. MAME can currently emulate over 2600 unique (and over 6000 in total) classic arcade video games from the three decades of video games - ´70s, ´80s and ´90s, and some from the current millennium. MAME´s purpose is to preserve these decades of video-game history. As gaming technology continues to rush forward, MAME prevents these important "vintage" games from being lost and forgotten.

A unique puzzle game that has 150 levels. The goal is to destroy all color blocks in all levels of the game by making similar colored blocks touch each other. The levels start very easy and slowly gets harder. This version is enhanced with great graphics, backgrounds and 17 music tracks. There is also a level editor that lets you create your own levels and store them in files. You can also record your solutions and replay them back later.

Laser Kombat is a challenging puzzle game for Windows. Driving a tank through each level, your objective is to destroy all enemy tanks. You accomplish this mission by firing your laser and manipulating the wide variety of objects in your environment. You can vaporize enemies with nuclear bombs, make bridges over water, and fire your laser through beam-splitters and at mirrors. Laser Kombat comes with a level-editor to make your own levels. Send in your best ones and they may be incorporated into the next release of the game!

Neverputt is also included in the download. Neverputt is a hot-seat multiplayer miniature golf game using the physics and graphics of Neverball. These games do not require installation.

As Santa Claus, you must retrieve all the lost presents in order to save Christmas.
Along the way you will have to use your skills to kill many creatures and jump from platform to platform without falling. Some of these creatures include trolls, snowmen and many more. 10 levels of play in all. This is a fun game for all ages.

Super Mario War is a multiplayer game which has many great features that most Mario games simply do not have. Most of your favorite Mario characters are included. The game has a whole bunch of game modes such as GetTheChicken, Domination, and Capture the Flag among others. The game comes with a level editor and up to 4 people can play in deathmatch fun. Over 1000 maps are available for download. Program is portable (does not require installation).

Cards

PySolFC is a collection of more than 800 solitaire card games and over 190 Mahjongg tile games. (Over 1000 games in all!)
There are games that use the 52 card International Pattern deck, games for the 78 card Tarock deck, eight and ten suit Ganjifa games, Hanafuda games, Matrix games, Mahjongg games, and games for an original hexadecimal-based deck.
Its features include modern look and feel (uses Tile widget set), multiple cardsets and tableau backgrounds, sound, unlimited undo, player statistics, a hint system, demo games, a solitaire wizard, support for user written plug-ins, an integrated HTML help browser, and lots of documentation.
Many card deck choices, if you don't like them, then they even have a card designer program you can download which helps you make your own deck.
Two problems I have noticed with this game... (1) With this is some of the decks are missing a few graphic files which outline or show where you place the cards. Either pick a deck that does not have missing cards or to fix this, copy the following files (bottom01-n.gif, bottom02-n.gif, bottom04-n.gif, bottom05-n.gif, bottom06-n.gif, bottom07-n.gif, l01-n.gif, l02-n.gif, l03-n.gif, l04-n.gif) from a set of cards which have them (in the data folder of the installed program folder) to the deck that is missing the files. Then select the deck from the options and fixed! (2) Running on Vista the game may give an error when you exit. To fix this issue simply right-click the shortcut and change the program to run in Windows XP SP2 Compatibility. This fixes the problem.
Despite these issues, this game is worth the download! I truly think this is the best solitaire game set I have ever seen, either freeware or purchased!

A large variety of gameplay modes from classic Singleplayer to fast 1 on 1 Multiplayer and objective based teamplay, with a great variety of original maps to play on. The graphics are good and playability is similar to DOOM.

Tremulous is a free, open source game that blends a team based First-Person-Shooter (FPS) with elements of an Real Time Strategy (RTS). Players can choose from 2 unique races, aliens and humans. Players on both teams are able to build working structures in-game like an RTS. These structures provide many functions, the most important being spawning.
The overall objective behind Tremulous is to eliminate the opposing team. This is achieved by not only killing the opposing players but also removing their ability to respawn by destroying their spawn structures.

Make no mistake, this is a high-level flight simulator! With FlightGear it is possible to choose between three primary Flight Dynamics Models:
(1) JSBSim: JSBSim is a generic, 6DoF flight dynamics model for simulating the motion of flight vehicles.
(2) YASim: This FDM is an integrated part of FlightGear and uses a different approach than JSBSim by simulating the effect of the airflow on the different parts of an aircraft.
(3) UIUC: This FDM is based on LaRCsim originally written by the NASA. UIUC extends the code by allowing aircraft configuration files instead and by adding code for simulation of aircraft under icing conditions.

Also has a map editor; and for those who are inclined to write script you can also write your own scenarios and campaigns, including the capability to add custom units, terrain, etc.
